Summer Beauty Essentials 2013

During the summer I like to keep my beauty routine to a minimum and focus on enhancing my natural features. It's hard to wear a full face when it's 120 degrees! Here are a few of my favorite, sweat proof, summer beauty essentials:
Covergirl Last Blast Volume Mascara {$6} One of the most frequent questions I get is what kind of mascara I wear; this is hands down my go to mascara all year round.

Essie- Boom Boom Room {$8} A pink nail polish is a staple regardless of the season. But this one by Essie is so complimentary with a nice glowing tan!

Batiste Dry Shampoo {$8} I can't believe i'm admitting this but, I hate washing my hair. It's by far my least favorite thing to do which is why I rely on dry shampoo to get me through in between washes. I like this one by batiste since it has tinted hue to match my hair color.

Celle Skin Treatment c/o{$350} I apply this at night and in the morning after I wash my face; the more moisture the better with my skin! When applying in the morning it creates a smooth base for you to apply your makeup on evenly.

Celle Body Lotion c/o {$125} Ever since I can remember I've always had trouble with my skin. So much so that i've even resorted to Accutane. Once I got rid of my acne I still had the chicken skin on the back of my arms, you know those red unflattering bumps. Not cute! If you suffer from it too the Celle body lotion is a dream come true! In just a few days it was gone and reduced the redness dramatically.

Revlon Just Bitten- Passion {$7} It's inexpensive, and lasts all day long! During the summer time I switch out wearing lipstick with this lip stain. It's ideal for a night out since you don't have to worry about re-applying and it doesn't smudge.

St. Tropez Bronzing Mousse {$51} All summer I've been on the hunt for that perfect bronze without having to layout in the sun and I'm happy to say my search is over. This bronzing mousse gives your skin that I just got home from a tropical vacation glow; its seriously magic! Make sure to apply it with the St. Tropez  mitt so your hands don't get stained.

Dior BB Cream {$44} To be honest, i've tried what feels like a billion different BB creams. None of which I loved. They were all either too thick or didn't provide enough coverage. The BB cream by Dior has become a staple in my makeup bag!

I always love trying new products and would love to hear a few of your most coveted summer essentials! :)

  1. I'll have to try that mascara. I try a new one whenever I run out of a tube.

  2. I love dry shampoo too! LOL. If only I could get away with it everyday ;p
Anyway, I've been curious like crazy with the revlon just bitten, haven't tried that one yet, it's just recently launched here in my country.

  3. these are great picks! I do like the revlon balm stains better (the crayon instead of the stain/balm separate)but these are all wonderful summer choices!
