How To: Beachy Waves Tutorial

This summer I can't get enough of beachy waves. There completely effortless and embodies every bit of summer.

Here's what you'll need:

Step 1: Section out your hair. I like to clip my hair half up and start on the bottom.

Step 2: Take 1 inch sections of hair and curl away from your face; twisting your hair around the wand. I recommend leaving a 1 inch section at the top since the less space you leave at the root of your hair the tighter the curls will be. Which totally defeats the purpose of those al naturale beach waves we're going for!

Step 3: Once your hair is fully curled, brush through the curls with a wide tooth comb. I know. This sounds counter productive but it's the magic trick to getting those soft beachy waves.

Step 4: Finish with moroccan oil or your favorite smoothing cream to smooth away the fly-aways and dust over with a light hair spray for hold. Avoid hairsprays that leave your hair feeling crunchy!

You've got yourself the perfect beachy, summer waves. It will even stay for a few days with a little touching up here and there.
