Good Vibes

Citizens of Humanity Overalls | Piperlime Heels | H&M Scarf | Prada Sunglasses | F21 Shirt |

I love how music can instantly change my mood, lift my spirits and bring back so many memories. Now that I live in Los Angeles, I occasionally find myself missing home and remedy by listening to music. Whenever i'm feeing a little homesick I always turn on a playlist of my favorite country songs. Bet you weren't expecting me to say that. (shocking, I know!). But really, It brings me back to so many happy memories.... Driving down the open road back home, convertible top down and all of our friends singing in sync together. No matter how much time passes between us I love how music has that magical way of connecting us all together! On another note isn't it incredible how music has the way of uniting complete strangers together through concerts and festivals; it really is a beautiful and powerful thing.

I always love discovering new artists so any recommendations are always appreciated. What's currently on the top of your playlist?

White Denim: East vs West

White jeans are one of those spring essentials I can't live without! And to no surprise the all white trend is something that has already been in heavy rotation. I love mixing different textures and adding a pop of color with an accessory or lipstick to finish off the look. See how the ladies styled their white jeans.

Lace: East vs. West

I've been in love with For Love and Lemon's line for what feels like forever. Their pieces are delicate, feminine and a perfect way to sneak a little bit of lace into your wardrobe this spring. I opted for this ensemble for a day of running around at the Rose Bowl flea market and dinner with friends - I love how the lace gives a peekaboo affect without showing off too much. Happy Monday! x

We're back with week four of our East vs. West Style challenge and this week we're bringing you the pastel trend for spring. See how these ladies styled their pastel looks...

I love this structured pastel dress from Lulu's, it looks so much more expensive than it really is {score!} and is a quintessential piece for spring. I wore this out to brunch this past weekend and paired it with scalloped shorts for a tunic style. Which pastel look is your favorite?

Canadian Tuxedo

I'm excited to team up with the L'Oreal team and share their new Advanced Haircare line. Their total repair shampoo and conditioner is on another level! I'm constantly impressed with the drugstore brands; they're just as amazing as the hair care lines you find in salons for a fraction of the cost. (winning!)

For someone who is constantly processing their hair and using a hot tool daily I gave the L'Oreal Total Repair shampoo and conditioner a try. It left my hair voluminous, smelling amazing (yes, this is a deal breaker!) and so soft. I can't wait to wash my hair again with it! If you're looking for a deep conditioner like treatment, I even recommend leaving the conditioner in for ten to fifteen minutes longer than usual.  Hair like this makes me feel confident and I can't wait to show it off! (Notice the short hair, people? More on that later.)

Get confident and rock what your mama gave you with the help of L'Oreal! x

P.S. I recommend purchasing at your local Walgreens, they have a coupon in their in store flyer for $1 off shampoo and conditioner!
