Ironically enough, as the weather gets warmer I become more and more fixated on growing my collection of ankle boots. Even though ankle boots are often associated with the cooler months I can't get enough of them for summer; especially with cool cut out detailing. They pair perfectly with cut off shorts for a casual look or with a floral dress for an extra edge.

Here are a few more outtakes from my Michael Stars May blogger project shot Katie from the blog, Running on Happiness. This project was all about embracing summer! I immediately was drawn to an all white outfit in light fabrics, and incorporated color with this summer essential. It's a great way to show off your tan too!
